Some thoughts about sellers starting out high and “leaving room for negotiations”…..
It’s not an uncommon occurence for agents to have to overcome this very common objection from sellers: “Why don’t we just start out high and leave some room for negotiations?” Here’s an excerpt from an e-mail I sent to a client who lived out of town and wanted to sell their Las Vegas home for far more than what a comparative market analysis clearly demonstrated the home was worth.
